As the last part of sunscreen guide, here is the Q&A “Everything you ever wanted to know about sunscreen!”

Who need sunscreen?

EVERYONE! Sunscreen help prevent skin cancer by protecting you from the sun’s harmful UV rays.

When should I use sunscreen?

Everyday, even on cloudy days cause up to 80% of the sun’s harmful UV rays can penetrate our skin. Apply sunscreen 15-30 minutes before going outside.

How often should I apply it?

Sunscreen should be applied approximately every two hours.  Remember to apply it also after swimming or sweating!

What is the difference between chemical and physical sunscreen?

Chemical sunscreen is like a sponge, it absorbs the sun’s rays.
Its formulations tend to be easier to rub into the skin without leaving a white residue.

On the other side, Physical sunscreen is like a shield. It’s sitting on the surface of your skin and deflecting the run’s rays.

Both types of sunscreen are safe and effective.

Should I apply sunscreen before or after the moisturizer?

Applying sunscreen to your face after moisturizer will provide the best results.
Moisturizer can change the organic and inorganic chemical properties of your sunscreen. It can also alter the way that UV rays meet your skin.
Be sure to apply sunscreen on your face only after your moisturizer has been totally absorbed by the skin!

Do I still need to apply sunscreen if I already put on BB, CC or Cushion with SPF?

Yes, you should apply sunscreen because make up products have lower level of protection than sunscreens.

I am using moisturizer with SPF. Do I need extra sunscreen?

If you will be indoors most of the time and you are using products with high SPF, you may skip the sunscreen. But if you are going to be outside, you should use sunscreen with SPF 50,PA+++ after your moisturizer!
